Raj Choudhary
Applied Scientist
Raj Choudhary is an applied scientist at the School of Government and Policy, where he leads data-science projects that support public-sector innovation and evidence-based policymaking. He manages cross-sector projects, oversees data infrastructure and security, and mentors junior staff. Previously, as a data scientist at the NYU Marron Institute, he developed practice-informed data tools for criminal-justice and social-policy initiatives. Raj holds a Master of Science in data science from the NYU Center for Data Science and a Bachelor of Technology in computer science and engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology (India).

Yuki Cui
Applied Scientist
Yuki Cui is an applied scientist at the School of Government and Policy. Previously, she was a junior research scientist at the NYU Marron Institute on data-driven criminal justice projects, focusing on improving data accessibility to support decisionmaking. She was a data scientist for Information Tracer, developing bot-detection algorithms in collaboration with Global Witness, and building election-monitoring dashboards in partnership with Tecnológico de Monterrey and Rolli. Yuki holds a Master of Science in data science from the NYU Center for Data Science and a Bachelor of Science in quantitative finance with a minor in statistics from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
